Cihuatán Alux is a limited edition rum inspired by the Mayan legend of the Aluxes, guardian gods of all crop fields.
According to Mayan lore, the Aluxes lived within corn and cacao fields, as these were regarded as the most sacred crops. At the beginning of every harvest, the Mayan people would hold an enchanting feast as a thank you to the Aluxes for their protection.
